Thomas R. Juneau, Sr. has been appointed by various courts to serve as the Special Master in complex class action disputes.  He has also served as mediator in hundreds of disputes in Louisiana, California, Texas, and New York, ranging from basic, two-party casualty matters to complex, multi-party class action lawsuits.  The vast majority of his mediations result in a settlement, and he is tireless and creative in his approach to getting cases resolved.
 
Mr. Juneau completed alternative dispute resolution training at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law School, ranked the #1 dispute resolution program in the country by U.S. News & World Report.  He is a member of the National Association of Distinguished Neutrals and the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters.
 
Mr. Juneau is a shareholder with Juneau David, APLC.  With over twenty years of litigation experience, he has tried multiple cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell (highest possible rating) and has been repeatedly recognized as a Louisiana Super Lawyer.
 
Mr. Juneau obtained a B.S. degree in Pre-Law/Political Science, from Louisiana State University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law.  While in law school, he was a member of the Tulane Civil Litigation Clinic, Phi Delta Phi, and Who’s Who Among America’s Law Students.  Mr. Juneau served as a Justice on the Tulane Moot Court Board and won the Tulane Interschool Moot Court Competition. He was also the recipient of the Best Advocate award at the Dominick L. Gabrielli National Moot Court Competition, held in Albany, New York.
 
Mr. Juneau is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Louisiana, as well as the United States Supreme Court.  He is also admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Texas and the District of Columbia.
 
Mr. Juneau is an elected fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation, and his legal memberships include the Product Liability Advisory Council, Defense Research Institute, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, College of Master Advocates and Barristers, Louisiana State Bar Association, and Lafayette Bar Association.  He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been repeatedly recognized by his peers as a “Louisiana Super Lawyer” and has also been recognized as one of the “Top Attorneys in Louisiana” by Louisiana Life Magazine and St. Charles Avenue Magazine.
