Sam Woodhouse is the Managing Partner of Woodhouse LLC. He regularly represents Fortune 500 companies, middle market companies, governmental entities, and high net worth individuals. Sam is an experienced trial attorney, having tried jury trials, non-jury trials and arbitrations to verdict in federal and state courts. He supplemented his actual courtroom experience with intensive classroom trial advocacy training at Temple Law School’s nationally recognized LL.M. in Trial Advocacy Program. This culminated in Sam earning an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he graduated with Honors.
 
Sam has been called upon to protect his clients in a variety of complex civil litigation cases, including business litigation, contract disputes, land use litigation, business torts, temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions, data protection and privacy law matters, and products liability lawsuits. In protecting the interests of his clients, Sam has handled all aspects of litigation: pre-trial discovery, motions practice, hearings, motions for summary judgment, Daubert motions and hearings,motions in limine and pre-trial conferences.
 
Sam also practices in the field of alternative dispute resolution. He obtained a Certificate in Mediation after receiving formal mediation training. Sam is a Registered Mediator in Georgia and regularly represents his clients in court-ordered and private mediations. 
 
In addition to his trial advocacy skills, Sam advises his clients in matters concerning internal investigations, corporate governance (FCPA), export compliance (EAR/ITAR), data protection and privacy law, and cause-related marketing law. Sam is sought after for his keen judgment and sound counsel. He recognizes that in order to properly represent his clients, he must understand their business goals and objectives. Sam is vigilant about learning his clients’ business and industry, as well as understanding how his clients’ legal issues fit within their overall business goals. This allows Sam to provide advice and counsel to his clients to assist them in managing their risks and avoiding or reducing their legal problems.
 
Prior to establishing Woodhouse LLC, Sam was a Shareholder and the Managing Partner of the Atlanta office of a full service global law firm with over 500 attorneys in 21 offices.
